# Stop Bot

> Stops a running bot. Returns immediately — shutdown happens in the background.

## Body

  UUID of the bot to stop.

  The shutdown sequence sends **SIGTERM**, waits 10 seconds, then sends **SIGKILL** if the process hasn't exited. The response is returned immediately with `status: "stopping"`.
